Since then, the company has grown to become a nationwide contractor, specializing in the construction of above ground steel welded storage tanks as well as storage tank field repair in compliance with API 650, 653, 620, AWWA & ASME coded vessels. Working around the clock, Smith Tank & Steel provides the highest level of safety and quality, while maintaining strict and timely schedules to meet or exceed customers’ demands.
Our Facility
- 16-acre facility with rail spur and trucking capabilities.
- 10,000 sq. ft. fabrication shop for fabrication of all tank appurtenances, including nozzles, manways, etc
- 20,000 sq. ft. (50 ft. eave height) fabrication shop equipped with 4 overhead cranes, the latest state-of-the-art plate roller & plasma burning table.
